And when that item sells, BillSure takes it from the batch that expires first. Nobody at the counter has to remember which box to reach for.
The day after the sale.
Selling is the easy half. The rest of it is a delivery landing at 7am, a shelf that doesn't match the system, and stock quietly walking out the door.
Receive a delivery and every line becomes a real batch with its own cost and expiry, with the item's figures updated to match. Count your shelves with a blind stock take, where the person counting never sees the number they're supposed to find — so a miscount can't quietly become the truth.
Variance comes back valued at cost, split by section and by counter. And the expected figure is frozen the moment a line is counted, so a sale that happens mid-count is never mistaken for shrinkage.
On the 5th, your accountant asks for the month.
The invoice register lists every bill in a date range — number, date, customer, taxable value, tax, total, and anything since credited — and downloads as a CSV you can hand straight over.
The GST summary gives you the month's taxable value and tax collected net of the credit notes you issued, not gross of refunds you've already paid out. Invoice numbers run in sequence without gaps, and a credit note reverses exactly the tax the original bill charged.

Does billing really work without an internet connection?
Yes. Your catalogue is kept on the device, so you can search items, build a bill, take payment and print it with no connection at all. The bill is saved locally the moment it's made and syncs by itself when the connection returns. A few things do need the connection, because they're shared across every device — adding a brand-new customer record, editing business settings, and receiving a delivery. Selling doesn't.
What does BillSure cost?
Plans start at ₹299 a month for a single till. Every plan includes every feature — the only thing a plan limits is how many devices can bill at the same time, and staff accounts are unlimited on all of them. Is BillSure GST compliant?
It produces GST-ready invoices: a tax rate per item, gap-free sequential invoice numbers, and credit notes that reverse exactly the right tax rather than a flat percentage. A GST summary gives you the month's taxable value and tax collected, net of the credit notes you issued, which is the figure your accountant needs. It does not yet generate e-way bills, e-invoices with an IRN, or carry HSN codes on the invoice — if your shop is required to file those, BillSure isn't enough on its own today.
Can I bring my existing catalogue across?
Yes. During setup we load your catalogue, pricing, tax rates and currency from whatever spreadsheet or price list you already use. After that you can import and export the catalogue as CSV yourself, with a dry run that tells you exactly what a file would change before anything is committed.
Can I get my data back out?
Yes, as CSV, whenever you want. The full catalogue exports to a spreadsheet, the invoice register exports every bill in a date range with its taxable value and tax, and the analytics panels export their own figures. There's no export fee and no lock-in step.
Do I need special hardware?
No. BillSure runs in the browser on any reasonably modern phone, tablet, laptop or till, and installs to the home screen like an app with no app store account. Receipts print through the browser to whatever printer the device already uses, and a standard barcode scanner works at the counter because it simply types the item code into the search box.
Is my shop's data separate from other shops'?
Yes. Every shop is its own tenant and every query is scoped to it, so one shop's staff, catalogue, customers and invoices are never visible to another. Each device carries its own key, issued when it pairs, and revoking a device revokes only that device.
How do I get started?
Leave your email or write to us, and we'll arrange your setup — we usually reply within a day. There's no queue to join: we load your catalogue, pricing and staff with you, then you pair your devices with a one-time code and start billing. We take on one shop at a time and do the setup ourselves — that's a choice about how the first shops are supported, not a waiting list.
What BillSure doesn't do yet
Every feature on this page is built and running today — we don't list things we're planning. By the same token, here's what isn't there, so you find out now rather than in week two.
- E-way bills and e-invoicing. No IRN generation, and no HSN codes on the invoice.
- Sending bills on WhatsApp. Print or share the PDF your browser makes.
- Chasing udhaar for you. You can see what any customer still owes, but nothing reminds them — no automatic message goes out.
- Thermal printer drivers. Printing goes through the browser, not a direct ESC/POS connection.
- Tally export. You get CSV, not a Tally-native file.
- Multi-branch. One shop per account today.
- Self-service signup and card payment. We set you up personally and invoice you directly.
- Languages other than English.
